Last week, It rained blue “ice pellets” in Steve Hornsby’s garden, it aroused all kinds of arguement. Bournemouth University researchers have speculated that the blue balls may be “ocean invertebrates eggs, these eggs glued to the birds’ claws, then fell down when the birds flied over Steve Hornsby’s home.
Scientists claimed that they have cracked the mystery and funny stroies. Bournemouth University research assistant Josie Peg confirmed that the composition of the blue ice pellets is sodium polyacrylate, sometimes used for gardening and farming to improve soil quality, also used in baby diapers.
