American artists Scott Walter is engaged in supermarket staff, but he is good at toothpick sculptures. In order to express his love for his hometown San Francisco, he spent 34 years, and used 100,000 toothpicks to create San Francisco city sculptures of the ancient and famous and historical landmarks, such as the Golden Gate bridge, Lombard Street and the Palace of Fine Arts.

The whole sculpture is as high as 9 feet, and 8 feet wide, known as “crossing the Gulf.” 35 years ago, Walter produced San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge with a toothpick, which is begining of the whole sculpture, around which he slowly made four weeks in the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco the other attractions, and gradually built other scape and became current sculptures like today.

Toothpick sculpture is not only beautiful and delicate, but very strong. Walter said the sculpture escaped the attack dog, also survived the earthquake, but also move for four times with Walter. Walter said he want to built the world’s largest toothpick sculpture.
